POSITION: Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst for its Real Estate Capital Advisory (RECA) team in New York.

RECA is an integrated real estate platform which provides a broad range of advisory services to real estate sponsors and limited partners. RECA raises capital from institutional investors and provides strategic advisory for a variety of private real estate vehicles, including commingled funds, joint ventures and separate accounts, focused on a wide range of sectors, geographies and risk/return profiles. RECA has extensive, longstanding relationships with over 3,000 institutional investors globally and has successfully advised first time real estate sponsors on entering the market and existing sponsors on new product offerings and on diversifying their capital base. In addition to raising capital for private real estate vehicles, RECA develops bespoke advisory solutions for real estate sponsors through private M&A transactions, recapitalizations, asset-spin-outs and restructurings. In collaboration with Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory group, RECA also advises limited partners on real estate strategy, portfolio management, valuation and monetization of illiquid investments including secondary transactions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Evercore Analysts are highly motivated individuals with a broad range of experience in strategic advisory and mergers and acquisitions. Analysts must demonstrate the ability to work on several projects concurrently and possess the desire to learn and work hard.
Analysts will work on a variety of assignments including: acquisition advisory, capital raising, recapitalizations, divestitures, partnerships and joint ventures. As part of the team assigned to these projects, individuals will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: preparing for and attending client meetings, financial modeling, resolving complex accounting issues, industry analysis, due diligence and new client development. Analysts typically work as part of small teams and have close contact with senior client contacts as well as partners within the firm.
