Evercore's mission is to attract and retain the most talented individuals of varied backgrounds who reflect the global marketplace that we serve. In support of this mission, Evercore's Restructuring Group is hosting a virtual invite-only Restructuring Sophomore Diversity Summit designed to provide highly motivated undergraduates who identify as Black, Hispanic, Native American, LGBTQ+, Women, US Veterans, or First Generation College Students an inside look into Restructuring. We are seeking intelligent, ambitious sophomores with the desire to learn about working with distressed companies.
Our Restructuring team has advised on the largest and most complex restructuring situations in history. The team’s areas of expertise include structuring and executing liability management transactions such as exchange or tender offers and consent solicitations; designing and implementing financing-driven recapitalizations; buying or selling non-core assets or entire companies in a distressed and/or special situations context; and developing, negotiating and executing prepackaged or pre-arranged chapter 11 restructurings and traditional chapter 11 restructurings. Our experienced Restructuring team works closely with Evercore’s strategic advisory bankers to ensure that our clients receive seamless and unparalleled advice.
The Summit will involve an overview by our senior leaders, informational panels and the opportunity to network with the group. This educational event will offer you background on the industry, how Evercore is positioned, and more specifically information on the Restructuring Summer Analyst Program, which we hope you will consider.
This is a unique opportunity to meet the team and gain the necessary tools to make an informed decision about your future internship and career experiences.
