What is the position? Evercore seeks to hire an Analyst for its Restructuring Advisory Team in New York City.
Primary Responsibilities: Evercore’s differentiated approach to advisory provides Analysts with the ability to work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, transactions around the world. The small transaction team structure creates a strong platform for Analysts to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As part of the team, the Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments including: chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings, tender and exchange offers, distressed M&A transactions, bank amendments, private and syndicated debt financings and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives.
Analysts will be ambitious, self-directed, creative and resourceful. Candidates will be passionately interested in a career in investment banking, intellectually curious and eager to learn. We are seeking an academically accomplished candidate with the ability to multitask. This position comes with challenging work and a demanding environment in a rapidly growing firm.
