Group Description: Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory (“PCA”) group provides independent advice and execution services to leading private equity sponsors and institutional investors on a variety of strategic transactions across the private capital spectrum including (i) sponsor driven private equity fund recapitalizations, (ii) sales of portfolios of private assets, (iii) structured capital raise through public capital markets, (iv) seeded capital raises, and (v) management team spin-outs. PCA’s clients include private equity sponsors, financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices seeking to utilize the secondary private equity market. PCA focuses on a diverse range of asset types including buyout, venture, credit, real estate, energy, and infrastructure.
The Structured Capital Solutions “SCS” group is a new and growing part of the PCA business whose objective is to bridge the gap between public and private markets. SCS employs various forms of structured ABS and securitization technologies to create innovative capital and liquidity solutions for private markets issuers and investors through structured DCM channels.
What is the Position?
SCS is seeking an intelligent individual from a Sales & Trading environment that has specific experience in Structured Credit / Structured Product Institutional Sales. The candidate must have strong existing client relationships and have some experience or knowledge of origination. Working knowledge of private capital markets (alternative asset classes such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Private Real Estate, etc.) and/or alternative investment managers more broadly speaking, including how private funds (limited partnership agreements) work, their investment characteristics, etc. is a huge plus. Ability to simplify and convey complex investment products to institutional investors is essential. The ideal candidate is a team player and a resourceful person who is enthusiastic about building a new business within an established institution.

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $275,000
